Harborside Inn

Haynes was selected to construct the new Harborside Inn on Block Island, Rhode Island. The design of the new building will evoke the architectural style of the original building and will feature 32 keys plus retail space on the ground floor. The original 1879 building — listed on the National Register of Historic Places and a sentinel of the Island's downtown waterfront for over 150 years — was deemed a total loss following a devastating fire in August 2023. True to Haynes' concierge-level construction approach, construction activities will pause during the summer months so as not to disrupt Island activities during the high season.
