This renovation involved 352 occupied residential units in two four-story luxury waterfront apartment buildings, along with 17,000 square feet of active retail space. The scope of work included removing and replacing existing fiber cement siding, sheathing, insulation, trim, and flashing, as well as repairing wood stud framing and balcony connections. Both waterfront buildings remained occupied during construction, necessitating careful logistical planning, a robust safety program, and effective management of seasonal weather challenges on an aggressive schedule. Haynes Group successfully delivered the project five months early and under budget.
