Today we’re highlighting Emily Bozek, our recently promoted Project Manager. Here’s what she had to say about her career in construction.

What made you choose a career in construction?

I didn’t decide, construction decided for me. I was working two jobs in New Hampshire and I was offered an entry level job. If I were to take the job I would’ve had to leave NH and move to MA. I gave my two weeks, moved to MA, and never looked back.

What’s your favorite part about working in this industry?

There’s no glass ceiling, no one puts you in a box. There’s opportunity in every direction.

What advice do you have for women trying to find their place in this industry?

Flock to the places and the people that believe in you and want you to succeed.
