Haynes Group, Inc. Bulking Up On Fitness Projects

New England – Haynes Group is bulking up this year with their latest Orange Theory Fitness (OTF) buildouts taking shape. Haynes Group has worked on over 25 locations throughout New England, ranging in size from 2,800 – 3,400 SF.

Haynes Group was founded in 2001 with the idea of combining quality construction and project management with a level of personalized service.

“Our team works diligently to understand the brand,” said Christine Medeiros, Assistant Project Manager at Haynes Group. “Our goal is to design and build a space that creates a great atmosphere and brings the fitness center concepts to life, while maintaining the brands vision.”

No matter how many similar projects you undertake, obstacles still arise.

“Scheduling I’d say is one of the biggest obstacle we face with these projects,” Christine Medeiros said. “It’s important to speak to the client regarding their FF & E packages to be sure they’re in line with our time frame for construction completion, material ordering, etc.”

The OTF projects typically consist of installing floor and wall tile, rubber flooring and wainscot, glass doors leading into studios, mirror treadmill walls, TRX walls, and updating sprinkler, plumbing, electrical and fire systems.

Haynes Group has built Orange Theory, Fit Factory, CycleBar and several fitness centers in office buildings and hotels.
